One of my WoW problems is that I play because of the social aspect of the game. If I were just playing the computer, I wouldn't play at all.

SO! I make all these Great friends, who clearly have a different amount of demands outside of WoW. We meet around the same level and then after working my butt off (at my job) a few days/weeks they have passed me by by 10/15 levels. This makes questing together impossible and the 'relationship' is reduced to whispered "hello how are you's" from time to time.

Then it's time to try to make new friends around my current level, who will inevitably pass me by just when I'm really starting to enjoy them.

LOL

What a problem to have!!!!

Work people!

I pretty much play solo until level 70 now. It's the only way to insure that there will be players at my level when I want/need them.

Unfortunately, getting to 70 doesn't mean I am at the same place as other level 70's. I retired my Rogue but my mage isn't as far along as he was in the gear/raid progression. So it means taking steps backwards and finding pugs. I hate pugs.

Pugs suck but the reality is, they make you a better player, no way around it.

I find leveling solo and finding people along the way is the best.

Even if you get into a guild, and get to 70... if you want to level another toon you'll probably have to pug it up to 70 because your guildmates will be off doing other stuff.
